Hey guys, so this is post number 1 from the start of what could potentially be a ridiculously crazy adventure (or something very normal and boring). My name's Khalid Khalifa, and a few weeks ago I quit my job. It was a good job, good salary, but I just wanted to do something exciting and see what the world has in store for me. I decided, with all this free time, let me go on a road trip around the gulf!
My good friend Ammaro suggested I start this blog, so I can document everything that happens on this trip. In fact, he actually set it up and is typing up the words you're reading right now. I'm in Riyadh - Saudi Arabia now, getting my tires changed, and tomorrow morning will be driving out to Dubai - UAE.
